My Origin Story

From Military Aspirations to The Call to Serve Through Teaching

I once dreamed of serving my country as a soldier, fighting on the front lines to protect the freedoms we hold dear. Life, however, had a different mission for me. A knee injury ended my plans for military service, but it set me on a path of service through teaching—a way to empower others to succeed and make a lasting impact.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree and three Master’s Degrees, I worked as a project engineer. But the corporate world left me unfulfilled. It wasn’t until I returned to teaching and tutoring that I found true joy—helping students realize their potential and expand their horizons.

Today, I see my role as more than a tutor; I’m a mentor, guiding students to academic success as well as becoming resilient, capable individuals ready to face whatever life throws at them. I dedicate my life to helping students conquer challenges in math, science, and engineering. Whether it’s mastering algebra, tackling the complexities of physics, or preparing for exams like the SAT, ACT, or AP, my mission is clear: to give each student the tools to rise above obstacles with grit and determination to achieve their goals.

Teaching isn’t just about passing knowledge from one person to another—it’s about unlocking potential. It’s about turning frustration into understanding, doubt into confidence, and effort into achievement. For almost 15 years, I’ve done just that, blending the expertise I’ve gained through multiple advanced degrees and a professional engineering career with a passion for guiding students toward success.

Service Through Voluntarily Tutoring Military Applicants

While my aspirations to join the military were thwarted, my dream of serving my country lives on in the volunteer work I do today.

I provide free math tutoring to individuals preparing for the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), ensuring they have the tools to qualify for service and excel in their military careers.

After each session, I often share a martial arts lesson, ensuring these aspiring service members are not only mentally prepared but physically confident in their abilities as warriors.

The Army Special Forces Creed states, “I will teach and fight whenever and wherever my nation requires.” Today, I honor that creed by teaching students to overcome obstacles, achieve their dreams, and become the leaders of tomorrow.

Empowering Your Future

If you’re ready to tackle your academic challenges, I’m here to guide you. Whether you need help with science, technology, engineering, or math—or if you’re preparing for a test or a career in the military—don’t wait to take the first step.

I once dreamed of serving my country as a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces, dedicating myself to protecting the freedoms we cherish alongside fellow visionary men and women. A serious knee injury derailed that plan, but it led me to a new mission: helping others prepare for their own battles in life—academic, personal, and professional. Today, I channel that same dedication and discipline into tutoring, teaching, and mentoring, empowering my students to achieve their goals and realize their life purpose.
