FREE ASVAB TUTORING

Once upon a time, I dreamed of becoming a Special Forces soldier. Although time and unfortunate decisions and circumstances have forced me to abandon that dream, I am still a true-blue patriot who seeks to be of service. In line with that, I offer FREE tutoring to help people improve their ASVAB scores in order to qualify for military service (both officer and enlisted).

Normally, when tutoring these students I also share fun stories to encourage them in their pursuit of the warrior path. I also teach them some martial arts and self-defense. My goal is not merely to teach these students math for its own sake, but to help them succeed in the military, and ultimately to win on the battlefield and return home safely.

Are you struggling to improve your ASVAB score to qualify for military service? Let me help! I normally have Monday afternoons and Saturday afternoons, both at 4pm, reserved for ASVAB tutoring.

FREE TUTORING FOR VETERANS WITH A SERVICE-RELATED DISABILITY

Also in line with my sense of patriotism and desire to serve, I offer FREE tutoring for any veterans with a service-related disability. For example, if a Marine lost an arm in combat, I will offer them free tutoring in math, science, and/or electrical engineering – any subjects that I am qualified to tutor. Of course, the hope is that this tutoring would help the wounded warrior go to school and retrain for a civilian career, so that they can move forward in life despite their disability.

SPHS (SOUTH PASADENA HIGH SCHOOL) TIGER BINGO

About once a month, I volunteer at SPHS Tiger Bingo. SPHS holds a Bingo night every Saturday, this is a very important fundraiser for SPHS. It helps raise money to provide for programs such as sports, marching band, pep, and so on – the fun things that students actually want to come to school for.

Do you like winning? Come out on a Saturday evening and give Tiger Bingo a try!

LCEC (LA CANADA ENGINEERING CLUB)

I recently got involved with LCEC at La Canada High School. This student team competes in robotics competitions regularly. It provides a valuable hands-on learning experience for students interested in STEM careers, and especially robotics. Interested in seeing your creation come alive? Find out more today about LCEC!
